5. Read the text. Khabarovsk Territory

Khabarovsk Territory is a federal subject of Russia, located in the Russian Far East. It lies mostly in the basin of the lower Amur River, but also occupies a vast mountainous area along the coastline of the Sea of Okhotsk. Khabarovsk is the administrative center of the Territory. Indigenous peoples of the area are the Evenks, Negidals, Ulchs, Nanai, Oroch, Udege, and Amur Nivkhs.

On July 28, 1994 Khabarovsk Territorial Council adopted the flag and coat of arms of Khabarovsk Territory. The flag of Khabarovsk Territory is the symbol of sovereign governing authority of Khabarovsk Territory.
